FASHANU’S NIGER DELTA CHALLENGE
The unpredictable “Fash” is at it again. Fresh from the highly successful “Football Challenge with Fash”, sponsored by Oceanic Bank Plc, John Fashanu- Nigeria Sports Ambassador hits the Niger Delta with a new project – THE BLACK SEA CHALLENGE.
The Football Talent Hunt will be conducted in the creeks of Rivers State in conjunction with State’s social development Initiative headed by erstwhile Ompadec Chairman, Chief A.K Horsfall.
Fashanu told Vandykesport.com that “we are determined to engage the youth of the Niger Delta and offer them the unique opportunity to exploit their God-given talent.We hope to unveil the details of the programme at the Press Launch on Thursday 13th November, 2008 in Port Harcourt to be conducted by Governor Rotimi Amaechi.”
He also confirmed upon enquiry by Vandykesport.com that he has been talking with most of the Premier League clubs in England, and also in Italy and they are on the verge of signing up to six of the players from the “Football Challenge with Fash” reality show.
