Omotoyossi heads to England?
Benin international striker Razak Omotoyossi could well be on his way to the English Premier League after an unhappy spell at Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr.
An agent representing Omotoyossi, who currently plies his trade with Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nasr, has informed that the player will arrive in England in the next week for talks with Premier League club Stoke City.
"We are working on a loan deal which would last until the end of the season with Stoke," said the top agent, who preferred not be named.
"And if he proves himself during this loan, we could get him a longer and better deal there or at another club in England."
Omotoyosi had once said he was far from happy at Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr after his switch in the summer from Swedish club Helsingborgs, where he finished as top scorer in the league.
He said he hopes to quit the club during the January transfer window even though his contract still had about three years to run.
"I want to leave Saudi Arabia and I have told the club so. I'm not happy there and neither is my family," he told Goal.com
The Benin star reportedly interested several English clubs including Portsmouth at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana.
