Soccerex to launch SoccerExchange

Soccerex said its brand new online networking site, SoccerExchange will go live on Tuesday October 7.

Soccerex reported back in July that the proposed site was under construction, and would be in place in time for all delegates ahead of Soccerex 2008 (23-26 November, Gauteng, South Africa). With over 85 per cent of delegates citing networking as an integral part of the event, organisers were eager to support the networking opportunities before, during and after Soccerex and worked with online community specialists Kuperwerk to develop a site that would greatly maximise the networking opportunities for our delegates at the event.

SoccerExchange is the first online networking platform of its kind specifically designed for the football business community. The site can be viewed by going to www.soccerex.com <http://www.soccerex.com> and clicking on the SoccerExchange button. Full access to SoccerExchange is only available to delegates who register for Soccerex 2008. Delegates already registered will receive their login details later this week.

SoccerExchange will enable delegates to build and manage business contacts in the weeks ahead of Soccerex 2008 and maximise their time at the event. The key features of the site include:
- Individualized Homepage featuring live updates on all the latest activities for your account and other members, helping you to stay informed at all times.
- My Profile section including contact and company details, which allows you to develop your professional identity online by listing your business interests and areas of expertise.
- Members Search Tool to help you to identify the people to help you achieve your objectives.
- My Messages allowing you to network with other members and develop new contacts ahead of Soccerex 2008. This will include a filtering function so that you determine the type of message you want to receive and from whom.
- My Contacts enabling you to extend your network of contacts and keep up-to-date on their activities.
Another essential feature of SoccerExchange is the Calendar function which will launch in November. As the event draws near, this will enable delegates to plan their agenda around the Soccerex 2008 Conference Programme, see who is attending each session, as well as schedule meetings with other delegates during event.
